Immediatly after registering your product you will receive your discount voucher via e-mail. The 10% discount voucher is valid for the entire product catalog and can be redeemed for your next purchase.

The additional promotional offers might vary depending on your country and particular eShop availability. All promotional offers (epPoints^® , the eShop voucher and 3-month extended warranty) will be issued in the same confirmation e-mail after registration.

The 3- month extended warranty will be issued with the same confirmation e-mail. Only selected products will be granted extended warranty: centrifuges, cyclers, incubators & shakers.

Consumable: 10- or 11-digit epPoints code printed on the sticker in the Eppendorf product box.

Pipette or dispenser: 12-digit registration code located on your Eppendorf Certificate.

Instrument with nameplate: 12-digit serial number placed on the nameplate.

Eppendorf µCuvette: 12-digit serial number printed on the underside of the metal box in which it is supplied.

You can register most Eppendorf pipettes, dispensers, instruments with nameplate and the Eppendorf µCuvette. For a detailed list, please refer to the section "Participating products".

You need a myEppendorf account to use Product Registration.

Register a myEppendorf device using the Eppendorf app

Using the Eppendorf App is the simplest and easiest way to register your Eppendorf device.

1. Open the Eppendorf App which is linked to your myEppendorf account and click on the product registration panel.

2. Scan the 2D Code Use the camera of your mobile phone to scan the 2D code located on the product. *

3. Your Product will be registered and automatically added to your instrument list

Register a myEppendorf device using the website

After logging in, you will find an entry mask here at the Product Registration page.
To register your pipette or dispenser, please enter the registration code from your Eppendorf Certificate. For the registration of an instrument with nameplate please use the serial number placed on the nameplate. For the registration of the Eppendorf µCuvette please use the serial number printed on the underside of the metal box in which it is supplied.

If you wish to register your device using the Eppendorf app, all you need is to locate and then scan the 2D-code. The 2D-code should be usually on the lower right side of the instrument or in case of the pipette in front. *

However, if you wish to register your device using the website, please note the following information:

• Pipettes or dispensers: The registration code is attached to the Eppendorf Certificate delivered with your product.
• Instruments with nameplate: The serial number for registration is placed on the nameplate on the back, side or bottom of the instrument. It is a 12-digit code with numbers and letters.
• Eppendorf µCuvettes: The serial number for registration is printed on the underside of the metal box in which it is supplied.

The 2D codes are always located on the right side of the device. *

If you wish to register your pipette using the Eppendorf App you do not need to locate the registration code or serial number. Instead, all you need is to locate and then scan the 2D- code. The 2D-code is located on the device. See question above. If you wish to register your pipette using the website, then please note that the serial number is not suitable for online Product Registration of pipettes or dispensers. Should you have lost your registration code, please contact us . In most cases we can create the registration code from the serial number of the pipette or dispenser for you.

Using the Eppendorf App

If you used the Eppendorf App to scan the 2D code located on the device and received this error, please check the following point:

• Does your device participate in our Product Registration? For a detailed list, please refer to the section "Participating products".

Using the website

If you used the website to enter serial number / registration code, then please check the following points:

• Does your device participate in our Product Registration? For a detailed list, please refer to the section "Participating products".
• Have you tried to enter an epPoints code printed on a sticker? For redeeming these codes, please go to epPoints.
• Have you been working with your Eppendorf device over many years? Please note that only pipettes and dispensers manufactured as of 2012 and the majority of instruments manufactured after January 2008 can be registered.
• For pipettes / dispensers: Have you entered the serial number? Please note that in order to register these products, the registration code is required. It is located on the Eppendorf certificate on the packing material.
• Is the serial number format correct? The following serial number formats are accepted in our system: 1234XY456789, A234XY456789, AB34XY456789.
• Have you entered the registration code (pipettes, dispensers) or serial number (instruments, µCuvette) correctly? Please recheck the spelling e.g. often the letter “O” is confused with the number “0” or the letter "Z" is mistaken for the number “2” etc.

If you used the Eppendorf App to scan the device, then it must be, unfortunately, the case that someone has already registered the device before you, perhaps a colleague of yours. If you used the website to enter the serial number / registration code, then someone may have already registered the product before you. However, it may also be the case that you misspelled it. Therefore, please recheck your spelling. Still not working? We are happy to help. Please contact us .

When using the website to register products, after five wrong entries, this error message appears for security reasons. Please contact us, we are more than happy to help.

To de-register a device if you no longer have it, please contact us .

Every serial number or registration code can be registered only once.

You are very welcome to transfer your registrations to a colleague. For that, please contact us to de-register the devices from your account and transfer them to your colleague’s account.
